what should VAN HALEN do next?

since Eddie is so difficult to work with and he has burned his bridges with Sammy till he changes his whole attitude and Eddie has pretty much treated Michael like crap plus Eddie cant stand DLR, I think this is the logical next thing to do.
Van Halen should go the Santana rout. Do an album with different singes on each song. them maybe a vocalist will be able to work with him for just a song before Eddie gets tired of them and starts to act like a spoilled kid.
I could go for that kind of cd from the band,as long as they don't feel like they have to get the "hip singers of today" to do the whole album.
You could have people like Rob Halford, Bret Michaels, Paul Stanley, Jani Lane, Lou Gramm, Jamie Rowe, Mitch Malloy (he had the job and turned it down before they picked Gary) and of course you would have to have a few of today's singers on it to round it out and update it for mass appeal.
anyone see this as coming off?

Sometimes I think it's just too difficult to recapture what made bands of that era great. I would hate to see a new Van Halen album come out and be terrible.

new van halen=rambo 4...I know its coming out(rambo 4) and its exciting but Im prepared for a huge letdown.

omg thats terrible.

I also heard theres no soundwave, how can there not be soundwave? Id understand if there was no skywarp or thundercracker to go with starscream, but how the hell can you leave out soundwave. Even if he wasnt a tape deck anymore, they could have at least let him be a harddrive or something, sheesh.

If Eddie Van Halen did things any other way it wouldn't be Van Halen, if it happens good, if not so be it. I don't want the name on some watered down trash.

I too don't think Van Halen should make the mistake of recording another album. Let the great works of the past stand as what we'll remember of Van Halen. If they're going to do anything, they should tour with David Lee Roth one last time to let the world see what the real, genuine VH was like!
